élevé: A Vision for Elevated Fitness

élevé was founded by Betsy Campbell, who discovered Lagree Fitness in 2016 and quickly recognized the unique qualities of this transformative exercise method. She fell in love with the Megaformer and the Lagree method, eventually purchasing a machine for her own home. Betsy’s passion and commitment led her to become one of only 51 active Master Trainers in the world. She went on to work directly with Sebastian Lagree and Lagree Fitness, certifying and training others to teach the method.

As Betsy’s fitness journey progressed, she envisioned elevating the fitness experience in Baton Rouge. In 2024, her dream became a reality when she and partner Jennifer Dellorfano opened élevé, bringing the city a premier fitness studio dedicated to offering an incredible variety of workouts. Today, élevé is home to a team of certified and advanced certified instructors who are committed to providing a diverse range of high-impact classes, all designed to deliver maximum results for every participant.

At élevé, the focus is on results, community, and the pursuit of personal growth—whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete. Join us and experience the difference of working with highly-trained professionals who are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

Betsy Campbell

Owner / Founder / Instructor
Official Lagree Master Trainer

Wife and mother of two rambunctious little boys, Brian and Elton, Betsy’s dream was to one day run her own fitness studio. Always athletic and active from basketball, track and field, and later in life boxing and actively competing in the National Physique Association and International Fitness and BodyBuilding Federation, Betsy holds fitness and health to the highest standards. After having two cesarean sections in 2016, she discovered Lagree Fitness coming to realize the method is impossible to duplicate and the most amazing group fitness class around. No stranger to fitness, Betsy quickly fell in love with the megaformer and the method. When COVID occurred, she had time to think and decided then that she had to elevate her learning and purchased a megaformer for her home. She then made a decision to become one of only 51 active “Master Trainers” in the world, ultimately going to work for Sebastian Lagree and Lagree Fitness certifying and training others to teach the Lagree method.

How did élevé come about? Betsy had a vision. Since being part of the exclusive group of Master Trainers and seeing how amazing these individuals are, she wanted to elevate the fitness class experience in Baton Rouge. Training and continuing to learn has always been the backbone of the business model she created for élevé and she is dedicated to ensuring that every one of the trainers working at  élevé will be the best! In addition to her title as an official Lagree Master Trainer, she is a certified Versaclimber instructor, a workout that became her saving grace after finding out she has osteoarthritis in her knees. Like Lagree, Versaclimber is the most efficient cardio around with zero impact and these two methods are what keeps her in shape. In addition to being an official Lagree Master Trainer and a certified Versaclimber instructor, Betsy is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, a pre- and post-natal Lagree specialist, and is currently working toward becoming a certified nutrition coach. Outside of working out and fitness, Betsy loves to cook for her family often preparing meals at least five times a week. She enjoys coffee, elegant dining, reading, hiking, a lot of shopping (fashion is a close second passion to working out) and watching her little boys (and husband) play golf, football, and basketball.

Sallie teaches Lagree, Yoga, Mega-Flow, and Strength and Stretch. After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, she  focused on making yoga accessible to senior citizens to help improve overall quality of life. Since Lagree found its way to her, it has opened up new challenges, new relationships, and has empowered Sallie in a new way. After being a client since 2015, Blair got her Level 1 Certification in Lagree and began teaching in 2017. She originally turned to fitness as an outlet for stress after attaining her undergraduate degree in Nursing and continues the habit while pursuing her Nurse Anesthetist Doctorate Degree.

She enjoys the energy, music, clients, and the community she builds with every workout, on or off the microphone. When she’s not at the studio, Blair enjoys the quiet moments in life, like naps, painting and design, and a shopping trip here and there. Giving her clients grace and compassion while pushing them to reach their full potential is her driving force behind each class Blair curates.

Marci Mallett

Marci spent years pursuing different types of exercise, until she tried out the Lagree method in 2019 and got hooked. Mallory Dicharry

Mallory Dicharry grew up cheerleading, and coached for years, before exploring various fitness methods in order to keep up her active lifestyle. She discovered her love for Lagree after having her first child, and continued practicing throughout her second pregnancy, wanting to dive deeper into the method ever since.

Now, she’s Level 1 Certified in both Lagree and Versaclimber. Outside of the studio, she balances being a mom to Spencer (7) and Tucker (5) with her full-time job in Esthetic Sales. Erin Scott

Lagree

Erin is a wife and mother of two active teenagers. She has always loved health and beauty and is a Licensed Aesthetician. Years ago, she began her own personal wellness journey trying out a variety of classes and workouts.

Erin discovered Lagree four years ago and fell in love with this exciting and effective method. She believed in the Lagree method so much that she soon became an instructor. She has always had a passion for teaching, so combining her love of fitness and coaching created her dream job of teaching Circuit and Lagree at élevé. Annalise believes there is truly no better feeling than knowing she is helping someone achieve their goals, one class at a time. She can’t wait to meet and sweat with you!

Kim DeCastro

Lagree / Yoga / Mega-Flow / Strength & Stretch

Kim de Castro was born and raised in Baton Rouge, attended St. Joseph’s Academy, and graduated from LSU with a degree in Art Education. She has been married since 1989 and has one son who is an attorney living in Colorado. Her yoga journey began when she accidentally showed up for a yoga class thinking it was a high intensity cardio class. That class changed her life forever. She fell in love with yoga and received her yoga certification in 2000 going on to teach yoga privately, in gyms, studios, and elementary and high schools.

At élevé, Kim teaches Lagree, Yoga, Mega-Flow and Strength and Stretch. She adores sharing her yoga passion with others and strives to ensure her classes remain casual using common English terms (no Sanskrit), and making her class friendly for both novice and advanced students. Balance, strength, and flexibility are the key components of the Hatha Yoga style on which she bases her class. She also incorporates core strength into her practice to round out the harmony between mind & body. Kim ends each session with a few minutes of deep, visual relaxation, which provides a wonderful, unique experience every time. Along with her passion for yoga and fitness, she turned her soap making hobby into a small business and recently just discovered a love for watercolor painting.

She promotes food freedom; finding the balance between enjoying meals while reaching fitness goals. When she’s not at the studio, Jenna is usually hard at work as a full-time pharmacist, but on her days off, she can be found in her kitchen stirring a pot of roux while playing 90’s country tunes with her doggy daughter, Shipley.
